I guess my question is, if it bothers you so much that the people making a movie about the Battle of Thermopylae made the bad guys "brown people", how exactly would YOU have made this movie? Cast Ken Watanabe as Xerxes? Orlando Bloom? I know you've heard this before, but, do you actually read the articles you write before you submit them to Slate?
